How to make Green Beans

  • 1 LB green beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • Half a tea glass of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of Garlic
  • Half a glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

 

Wash the beans and leave them to drain. With the help of a knife, take the upper parts and bones, if any, and divide them into 2 parts longitudinally.
Finely chop the onion. Peel the tomatoes and cut into cubes.
Take the onion in a medium pot, put half of the fresh beans on top.
Add tomatoes and garlic over the beans and pour the remaining beans into the pot.
After adding olive oil, water, salt and sugar to the cooking pot, cook for 20 minutes on low heat in the stove.
After about 20 minutes, mix the beans and cook for another 10 minutes (until the beans are soft) and turn off the heat.
Rest the lid closed to room temperature and then serve as desired.
